Testimonial – Metin – Sciatica and Spinal Stenosis Surgery
Metin Yigit had sciatica and spinal stenosis, so he underwent a minimally invasive back surgery to stop his pain. This is his story.
METIN'S STORY: Metin Yigit, 49, suffered from sciatica in his right leg. Conservative treatments such as spine epidural injections and physical therapy did not work and he continued to experience leg weakness and pain. A full work-up by Dr. Hooman Melamed determined that he had spinal stenosis, which was compressing the root of his nerve and sciatica which caused the radiating pain. Metin underwent a L5-S1 microdiscectomy and his back pain was immediately gone following surgery.
