For Patients
Send your scan and get a real opinion — reviewed by Dr. Melamed himself, at no cost.
Your imaging holds most of the answers, and the best first step is often the simplest: let Dr. Melamed look at it. The complimentary MRI and CT review gives you an expert read on your spine before you commit to travel, a procedure, or anything else — reviewed personally, not handed off to a coordinator.
You can share your MRI or CT through our secure upload, or our team can walk you through the options if your images are on a disc or held by another facility. What matters is the actual scan files and, where possible, the radiology report that goes with them.
This is not an automated read or a quick glance by staff. Dr. Melamed looks at your imaging himself, the same way he would if you were sitting in his office. That personal attention is the whole point — you get a spine surgeon's read on your spine, not a form letter.
After the review, our team follows up to share what Dr. Melamed saw: what your imaging shows, whether it points to a clear problem, and what your realistic options are — including whether a muscle-sparing approach could apply. If it helps, we set up a telehealth visit so Dr. Melamed can walk you through the scans on video before you travel. Turnaround is usually a couple of business days, so you're not left waiting to understand your own spine.
Questions, Answered
Yes. The imaging review is complimentary. It's meant to give you a clear, expert opinion on your spine before you decide on any next step.
Typically a couple of business days. Our team reaches out once Dr. Melamed has personally reviewed your scan to talk through what he found.
That's common. Our team can guide you on uploading the files from a disc or help you request them from the facility that performed the scan.
Second opinions welcome
Send your imaging for a personal review with Dr. Melamed. Many patients learn a smaller, muscle-sparing option is on the table.
