MATTHEW'S STORY: Following a car accident, Matthew Long, 52, underwent a 2 level fusion back surgery that did not go well. He suffered from the effects of a botched or failed back surgery, screws that came loose following the surgery severed nerves in his back causing him excruciating pain and numbness and weakness into his leg and foot. He found hope when he found Los Angeles spine and back surgeon Dr. Hooman Melamed who performed a revision to his previous surgery, a reconstruction and a decompression of the spine.
