SUSIE'S STORY: Susie Groth, 57, was a flight attendant and loved her job. She also suffered from scoliosis and sway back syndrome, causing her to have a sway back posture, an exaggerated curve in the spine and back which causes your lower back to compensate. After a botched, failed back surgery which involved a spinal fusion and laminectomy, she found hope when she saw Dr. Hooman Melamed. Dr. Melamed performed extensive revision surgeries on Susie and she made a full recovery. She is now working full time as a flight attendant and is living pain free.
